I hope I fulfilled those promises to you. I was hoping for a breathless conclusion that delivered on all the promises the rest of the series makes. A friend of mine read the book and said it basically feels like the "end game" starts on page 45 and the tension and racing heartbeat doesn't go away until the very last page. I think it does justice to a beloved cast of characters that I- and you- have come to care so much about. Thanks so much to the folks who have loved this series, spread it out in the universe, shared it with friends and family. I made my mom cry at the end of this one. My favorite chapter in the book is a death scene.ħ. This is the best book I've ever written (for now)Ĥ. Having read this book (and having- you know- written it) I have a few thoughts:ģ. The final book in the Nyxia trilogy comes out April 16th. If you like YA Scifi, if you like competition tropes, if you like found families, do yourself a favor and check this series out. I had forgotten some details in between the second book and this one, so I would love to get a full immersive experience of bingeing them. I definitely plan to read this series again someday, back-to-back. I'm not sure how much more gushing I can handle in one day. They are diverse, well written and each one exudes their own distinctive voice. It added 10-years to my life.Īs this is the third book in the triad, I won't say too much on the plot, but I can scream from the rooftops that this was a very satisfying conclusion.ĭuring the course of the series, you become really attached to these characters. You watch these kids grow, from the early, dare I say naive, competitors they were, to the strong and fearless young adults they become. I loved each and every one of these books. Guys, this action-packed, YA Science Fiction series is soooooo underrated. Desperate kids, turned intergalactic space pirates, I love you all so much.
