Magic she can use to fight even bigger monsters. With no quest to follow, no guide to show her the way, and no real desire to be a Hero – Ilea embarks on a journey to discover a world full of magic. Well, maybe not her wildest dreams, but it’s close. On the bright side, ‘killing those monsters right back’ is now a viable career path! For she soon discovers her new home runs on a set of game-like rules that will allow her to punch things harder than in her wildest dreams. So maybe it's lucky that she wakes up one day in a strange world where a bunch of fantasy monsters are trying to kill her.? Instead, the plan is to quit her crappy fast-food job, go to college, and become a fully functioning member of society. Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.Unfortunately, there aren’t too many career options for hungry brawlers. Overall: A fun read, and well worth the read.įor those who like: LitRPGs, Isekai, Fantasy, Magic, Action, Adventure, Female Leads, Interesting Plot, Good Grammar. Grammar: The grammar is very well done, and given that the author went through the trouble of revising their errors out of the early chapters is a very good sign for the longevity of the series, at least in my opinion. I won’t spoil it, but it’s a very fun read and these first few chapters are a great start.Ĭharacters: We really only get to meet Ilea in these first few chapters, and that’s okay as she’s quirky and intelligent and very much a badass. It is a LitRPG mixed with Isekai elements, but don’t expect our hero to be going off to slay demon lords to save the world. Plot: The plot is pretty great, and considering that the author states upfront that he’s a complete amateur it’s refreshingly well written. It’s Azarinth Healer Chapters 01-09 by Rhaegar! This week for Serial Saturday I’m covering another new series.
